Duplex in Bridgeland

KDG was commissioned to develop contemporary Semi-detached dwellings that will enhance one of the old streets in the established Bridgeland community.
Our team created two 3-storey dwelling units with basements and detached garages, each about 2,400 sq. ft. above grade.
The project retained the original setbacks as they were established in the block. The main floors of the units were designed to be smaller to allow for landscaping opportunities.
Both street and rear elevations were treated equally with a rich exterior finishes pallet. The balconies and terraces that decorate these elevations are designed carefully to protect the privacy of the neighbours. The terraced elevations reduce the massing of the building from both the front and rear.
This modern and comfortable designed duplex attracted young families with kids to the neighbourhood and the units were quickly sold.
